Since the coronavirus outbreak, Jeff Jahn, the founder and CEO of a 1,300+ award-winning website software and storytelling company, has witnessed "many business people struggling and their worlds falling apart."
With so much negativity in the air, Jahn decided to tell positive stories about business leaders helping others -- or who were able to pivot their companies effectively during these difficult times. DynamiX would create 'at-a-boy' web pages lauding business do-gooders because, Jahn explains, "people are inherently terrible at blowing their own horns."
As a result, DynamiX would build complementary sites as a way to make a positive impact in the world during hard times for everyone. So far DynamiX has created five such website experiences, including Vistage's Leading in Challenging Times site (which you are on right now).
The company has also created sites for Jahn's beloved alma mater, Berry College; Cobb Chamber of Commerce; as well as online schedulers for Pike Nurseries and Armstrong Gardens. And they have also partnered with their good friends at Cox Atlanta Radio to launch #StrongerTogetherATL, featuring positive stories of area businesses doing good things.
Jahn says he has identified three kinds of companies emerging from this crisis:
- Ones who are in chaos and panic, cutting across the board
- Ones who are hunkering down and are on defense, doing their best to stay status quo
- Those who are finding a way to adapt, adjust their business models and stepping up to help others as best they can
"DynamiX is helping those people—the third kind -- by giving their good news a voice. It's our way to amplify the good."
